The surfaces below the tailgate’s edge have a distinctive inward (negative) slant, enhancing the contrast between light and dark shades and adding optical width. ŠKODA lettering on the rear is a distinguishing feature.

The tail lights now use LED technology for the brake light and the side marker light featuring the distinctive C shape. An additional safety feature incorporated into the car's revision is the built-in cat's eyes adorning the rear bumper to make the car clearly visible even when the lights are off.
